An annual fall favorite, Play the Animal Way is a Zoo-wide showcase of the creative talents behind the novel objects, smells, sounds and activities that keep animals active, interested and engaged year-round. Species throughout the Zoo will receive exciting treats in their habitats while human guests enjoy special Keeper Talks and training demos, crafts, character meet-and-greets and themed activities. Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit features the McStuffins Toy Hospital environment and offers families an opportunity to explore the hospital, assume doctor play roles, and help solve problems, all while learning lessons about healthy habits, empathy, and nurturing care. Exhibit runs June 8-Sept. 8., Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sat. and Sun. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Wednesdays, beginning Aug. 1. $15.95-$18.95; ages 1 and younger, free.

In a special habitat at the park, guests will come face-to-face with a giant 15-foot Emperor Dragonfly, a 20-foot Hissing Cockroach, a 50-foot Madagascan Fire Millipede, and much more! These exhibits spotlight special features including the individual sounds and movements that make these insects unique members of the animal kingdom. MEGABUGS runs from March 30-Nov.10. Don’t miss out on down-home fun at the Farm Fair. Get back to your roots and down in the dirt. Meet live farm animals, explore the Unity Garden urban farm, bring a picnic, and be sure to plan to spend the day with us. General admission: $10; ages 3-12, $6; ages 2 and younger, free.

Curious George™: Let's Get Curious inspires children’s natural curiosity as they explore science, math, and engineering through hands-on interactive play. The immersive environment takes place in the neighborhood where Curious George lives with his friend, The Man with the Yellow Hat. Exhibit runs Sept. 21 through Jan. 5, 2020. $13.95-$18.95; ages 12 months and younger, free.

Every Sunday the team will have a kids-only gate giveaway for children ages 14 and under. Kids will receive a miniature bobbleheads of The Home Depot Tools.  As part of these giveaways, Hope & Will’s Sandlot will be free for kids on Sundays during the regular season.

The festival will have Artisan Arts and Crafts, a kids' zone, a classic car show, Anything Apple Competition, live and local entertainment, great food vendors, corn hole tournament, tours in the Train Museum, hayrides to Chenocetah Tower, and more!
